Makin It Work (MIW) Program
Hi Everyone!
The next Makin It Work (MIW) training is scheduled for November 13 – 16th, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Ralph H. Metcalfe Federal Building, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Room 325, Chicago, Illinois. MIW is an in-house manualized training program that provides employment preparation services such as resume writing and interviewing skills. Upon completion of the program participants will be able to identify employment based on their interests, create a professional resume, discuss their criminal history during job interviews, and dress for success.
We are offering this training to all Persons Under Supervision that have minimal or no employment history. A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted in the order in which the referrals are received. If you have a person under supervision that meets these criteria, and would benefit from this training, please complete the attached referral form and return it to Raven McMillan by C.O.B. November 3, 2023.
